If you haven’t got the time, or possibly not ready to commit to the full Open Water Course, Discover Scuba Diving is the perfect option to experience scuba diving for 1.5 day, at real dive sites.
You need no prior experience for this non-certifying course.

At Mantascape Diving in Nusa Lembongan, our Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) program offers a comprehensive introduction to diving, including an academic session, pool session, and ocean dive up to 12 meters deep. Our skilled instructors will provide comprehensive guidance and support, ensuring your comfort and safety throughout the entire process. With top-of-the-line equipment and personalized attention, our try dive is the perfect opportunity to discover the beauty and wonder of the underwater world.

What You’ll Experience with Mantascape Diving :

Friendly Introduction & Safety Briefing
Our instructor will explain how scuba gear works, basic safety rules, and how to communicate underwater using hand signals.

Academic & Shallow Water Practice
In the swimming pool, you’ll learn how to breathe through a regulator, clear your mask, feel comfortable underwater and swimming around the pool.

Your First Ocean Dive
Once you’re ready, on day 2 we’ll take you on a real dive — up to 12 meters deep — to explore a vibrant reef.
Your instructor will be with you the entire time.

​Do I need to know how to swim?
No. While basic swimming ability is helpful, you don’t need to be a strong swimmer to try Discover Scuba Diving.

How deep will I go?
The maximum depth for Discover Scuba Diving is 12 meters.

Will I see manta rays?
Manta rays are most often seen at Manta Point and Manta Bay, which are famous dive sites in the Nusa Islands. These gentle giants are here all year-round, but sightings are never guaranteed.
Our team always checks the weather (wind and waves) - If conditions are safe, we will do our best to take you to Manta Point so you have the chance to meet these incredible animals.
If the sea is too rough, your safety comes first. On those days, we’ll choose the best alternative dive site — which all offer beautiful reefs, tropical fish, and sometimes turtles.
So while we can’t promise manta rays on every trip, we can promise you an amazing diving experience in Nusa Lembongan.

Can I continue to a certification course?
Yes! If you love your DSD experience, you can continue directly to the PADI Open Water Diver Course, and your first dive may even count toward it.
